The Enugu state commissioner of police Suleiman Balarabe has commended officers and men of the command, sister security Agencies and other relevant stakeholders in the state for peaceful election in Enugu state.
He made the commendation on Monday 11/3/19 at the conference room of the state police headquarters Enugu during his weekly briefing with senior officers of the command, Divisional police officers and Heads of Departments.
The CP said,”The need to commend you all cannot be overemphasized as all hands were on deck in line with the compliance of operational guidelines of the Inspector General of police IGP Adamu Abubakar Mohamned.

On the murder incident recorded at a residence of one of the candidates of a political party at Igboeze north local government area, he maintained that a full scale investigations have commenced and also that the person killed is not an election observer and that the circumstance surrounding the incident is being investigated by the state criminal intelligence and investigations department and that somebody is arrested.
He also warned officers to ensure that no form of extortion is entertained within their areas of responsibilities as any one caught will not be spared.
He further assured that the command will continue to maintain necessary crime preventive measures to ensure that the state continue remain peaceful.
