Exercise Quick Dragon: GOC 82 Division Harps on Protection of Human Rights at All Times.

The General Officer Commanding 82 division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Adamu Abubakar has charged troops to accord the protection of human rights, a top priority while performing their constitutional responsibilities at all times.

The GOC gave the charge on Tuesday in Ohafia during his visit to the 14 Brigade headquarters to supervise ‘Exercise Quick Dragon’ as the Director for Exercise Quick Dragon which is an Indoor Telephone Battle Exercise for troops of the Brigade on communication security/telephone battle drills.

A statement by Colonel Sagir Musa, Deputy Director, Army Public Relations said, “The Exercise is multi agency in nature and execution, as elements of Para military organizations such as the NPF, DSS, NSCDC, NPS, NDLEA and FRSC are actively involved in the Exercise.

The Ex has since started from 27 – 31 Aug 17.

During the visit, General Abubakar commended the participants for the level of preparation and their commitment to the success of the Exercise.

 He urged the Commander and all the participants to put more realism into the Exercise and to protect human rights at all times.
