The Commissioner of Police, FCT, CP Sadiq Abubakar Bello has stated that the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim Idris has shown dynamism and purposeful leadership in steering the affairs of the Police force and tackling the myriad of security challenges confronting the country.
Consequently, the FCT CP and entire officers of the Command said it is re-affirming its unalloyed loyalty to the Inspector General of Police towards moving the force to greater heights.
A statement by the command said, “It is a simple truism that the greatness of a man is never measured by not being confronted by challenges in the journey of life, but rather being dogged and resolute in frontally surmounting challenges as they come.
“The Commissioner of Police and the entire personnel of the FCT Command wish to reaffirm their unalloyed loyalty to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim Idris and his entire management team.
“Our believe in your dynamic and purposeful leadership in steering the affairs of the Nigeria Police Force which has given good account of itself in confronting the security challenges in the country in line with International best practices remains unwavering.

“No doubt, the crackdown on the criminal elements and the recovery of their deadly arms in Benue, Kaduna and other parts of the Country attest to your resilience and workable strategy in crime fighting.
“Your uncommon courage, forthrightness and exemplary leadership style have endeared you to our hearts and we shall continue to stand by you both in and out of your service to the Country and humanity.
