The FCT Police Command in its determination to rid the federal capital of criminal elements, have arrested three armed robbery suspects at Zuma village, along the Abuja-Kaduna road.
The Police said the three suspects were arrested following a tip-off that led to their interception atop a Motorcycle that was stolen.
A statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Anjuguri Manzah said, “Sequel to the proactive measures deployed by the FCT Police Command to fight crime and rid the Federal Capital Territory of criminal elements, police patrol team attached to Bwari Division on Thursday 27th July 2017 at about 2am acting on tip-off intercepted and arrested three armed robbery suspects at Zuma village with a motorcycle suspected to have been robbed.

“Upon interrogation, the suspects confessed to have robbed the motorcycle from a motorcyclist at gunpoint in Mpape.
“The suspects are Ibrahim Abubakar 22 years, Suleiman Idris 25 years and Biraje Baupe 24 years from Tudun Wada and Baragoni villages in Bwari.
“The exhibits recovered from the suspects include, one locally made revolver pistol, 3 live cartridges, one Bajaj Motorcycle, Tramadol tablets and some assorted charms.
“The Commissioner of Police FCT CP Musa Kimo has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the Command Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for Discreet investigation.
“Meanwhile, the Command has commenced effort to identify the owner of the recovered motorcycle and possibly hand it over to him.”
