As part of proactive security measures deployed by the FCT Police Command to fight crime and rid the Federal Capital Territory of criminals, police detectives attached to Kuje Division through a sting operation have arrested three armed robbery suspects and recovered a Toyota sienna bus that was robbed at gunpoint by the suspects from a compound in Fasali community of Kuje Area Council.
A statement by the FCT Command sais, “The police team of detectives swung into action on receipt of a report that the suspects armed with two locally made pistols invaded a compound in Fasali community on 23/08/17 at about 8:00pm and robbed the occupants of cash, phones and a Toyota sienna bus that was parked in the compound.

“Following the deployment of modern technology, the suspects Saaor Liam 37 years of Konshisha L.G.A Benue state, Babangida Madaki 30 years of Mararaban-Rido Kaduna State and Michael Joseph 25 years of Lugbe were arrested at Pantaker Kaduna state while trying to sell the robbed car.
“The exhibits recovered from the suspects include: a golden colour Toyota sienna bus with reg. no GGE 752 DH and two (2) Techno phones.
“Efforts have been intensified to arrest the fleeing armourer of the syndicate who is in possession of the two locally made pistols used for the operation.
“Meanwhile, the suspects have been transferred to the Command Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for discreet investigation and possible prosecution of the suspects.”
