Foiled Attack on Kangarwa: Soldiers Kill 76 Boko Haram Terrorits, 7 Soldiers Killed, 16 Soldiers wounded.
Gallant troops of Nigerian Army prosecuting the war against insurgency on Wednesday killed 76 Boko Haram terrorists in deadly battle at Kangarwa in Borno state.
Hundreds of the terrorists heavily armed had attempted to overrun the community but met heavy resistance during which 7 soldiers were also.
During the encounter, 16 Soldiers were wounded in action while preventing terrorists from taking over Kangarwa in Northern Borno.
Confirming the attack and repelling by troops, the Nigerian Army on its website said Gallant troops of 157 batallion decively engaged Boko Haram terrorists who attempted to overrun there position near Kangarwa, Borno State.
The sustained superior firepower of the troops led to the neutralization of 76 Boko Haramterrorists.

Unfortunately, the Nigerian Army lost 7 soldiers and 16 soldiers were wounded in action.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai has comiserated with the families of the deceased and directed that the wounded be given adequate medical attentiin.
