Force Commander MNJTF plays host to US AFRICOM

 
  The Force Commander (FC) Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) N’Djamena Chad, Major General Lamidi Adeosun, has hosted the Chief of Staff and Commander Special Forces United States Arica Command, Major General R Cloudier and  Brigadier General Boulduc at the Headquarters MNJTF complex. 
 
 In his remarks, General Cloudier thanked the FC for the warm reception and appreciated MNJTF for strategic partnership, unprecedented achievements, which he described as durable and sustainable.
 
 He added that within the spate of less than two years establishment of MNJTF, the force did a great job. 
 
 While responding to questions from the visiting Generals, General Adeosun appreciated the visit and good comments.
 
He used the medium to highlight on the reasons behind the reorganization of MNJTF to provide a unified and common front to tackling the menace of Boko Haram Terrorist’s activities.
He commended the commitment of both military and political leadership of the Lake Chad Basin Commission countries which had been the back bone of the successes of the force.
 
General Adeosun appreciated the confidence, cohesion and cooperation of the troops both internally and externally.
 
He also acknowledged the P3 countries for their invaluable assistance in the provision of intelligence, training and interface in Quick Impact Projects amongst others. 
 
 The visit was attended by Colonel DJ Cormier, Chief Centre for Coordination and Liaison (CCL). Others include Colonel Major Detour Badje, Chiefs of Cells and Staff Officers from AFRICOM.
