The General Officer Commanding 82 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Adamu Baba Abubakar on Thursday, 7th of December 2017 inspected some ongoing Chief of Army Staff’s renovation works on Soldiers and officers’ living accommodation in 146 Battalion Barracks in Calabar.
Similarly, General Abubakar used the opportunity to inspect an ongoing Nigerian Army erosion control project at the Golf side of the barracks as well as the fencing works of the barracks.

He expressed his displeasure on the attempts made by civilian neighbours to encroach on the Nigerian Army land, especially at the left flank of the Golf field.
He ordered the site engineer Col E Egunjobi to strictly adhere to, and where necessary ensure total reversal to the original boundary settlement between the barracks and its neighbours.
The GOC was accompanied by the Commanders 13 Brigade, 44 Engineer Brigade and Operation Delta Safe, Brigadier Generals I Isa, MNB Mamman and NU Muktar as well as the Commander Military Intelligence Brigade Col K Nwoko.
