The 82 Division Nigerian Army is set to conduct its annual West African Social Activities (WASA) today Saturday 11 February 2017 starting by (2pm) 1400 hours.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State is expected to grace the occasion as the special guest.
WASA is an annual event in the Nigerian Army where officers, soldiers, their families and friends socially interact in a relaxed atmosphere.
 A statement by the Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Col Sagir Musa said “the event is conducted to mark the end of an eventful year and to herald the beginning of a new year.

 “In this vein, this WASA is for the year 2016.
 “Part of the activities lined up for the occasion include traditional dancers from selected cultural groups of Nigeria to showcase the diverse rich cultural heritage of the country.
 “The popular Enugu State cultural troupe will play at the occasion.
 “Governor of Enugu State, Mr. Ugwuanyi is expected to grace the event as a special guest of honour.
 “Responsible members of the public are hereby invited to attend.”
