The Secretary General was joined by the Coordinator of the National CounterTerrorism Center, Major General AG Laka, Nigeria’s Defence Attache to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and some staff of Saudi Embassy in Nigeria.

The delegation was received by Rear Admiral Ibrahim Dewu who represented the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla.
The aim of the visit was to strengthen the existing collaboration between the Nigerian Government and the coalition in the area of countering transnational terror networks.
The Secretary General thanked the Nigerian Navy for sending a representative to the Coalition Centre at Saudi Arabia and promised to ensure continued collaboration in common areas.
In his response, the CNS representative thanked the Secretary General for initiating the visit and highlighted the need for more collaboration in maritime terrorism.
