The Kogi State Police Commissioner, CP Wilson Inalegwu on Tuesday 20th June 2017 paid an official visit to the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Commission, Kogi state command as part of efforts to build synergy among government agencies.
CP Inalegwu disclosed that the purpose of the visit was to further strengthen the existing relationship between the Police and the Road Safety Commission.

He added that he was at the Road Safety office to seek for mutual partnership so as to ensure the safety of motorists on the highways in the state which borders over seven states.
CP Inalegwu also stated the need for the FRSC and the Police to carry out sensitization campaign in Lokoja, Ayingba and other parts of the state.
He assured the Sector Commander of the continuous support of the Police command in the state.
While urging the Sector Commander to ensure the roads are free of crashes during the sallah celebration, the CP assured that the police are ready to support whatever special operation the FRSCV is putting in place for a smooth sallah celebration.
