Internationally acclaimed actor who played several Bond Movies, Sir Roger Moore died on Tuesday from cancer at age 89.
Moore was born 14th October 1927 in Stockwell, London, England and Died on 23rd May 2017 in Switzerland.
Wikipedia entry said “Moore was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2013.”
Roger Moore played the slick spy ‘James Bond’ in several Bond movies including A View to a Kill, The Spy Who Loved Me, The Man with the Golden Gun, Live and Let Die, Octopussy and For Your Eyes Only

The actor’s family confirmed the news on Twitter, saying he had died after “a short but brave battle with cancer”.
The twitter post accompanying the statement reads “With the heaviest of hearts, we must share the awful news that our father, Sir Roger Moore, passed away today. We are all devastated.”
They also thanked the ‘007’ star for being “so very special to so many people.”
