Katsina state Police Command wishes to inform the general public that, CP Besen Dapiya Gwana has been posted to Katsina State Police Command and has assumed duty as the new police Commissioner.
Before his posting to Katsina State, he was the Commissioner of Police in charge Airport Police Command.
Among his postings in the police were Deputy Commissioner of police Yobe state Command, Force Quartermaster, Commissioner of Police Kogi State Command, Port Authority Police Command, Abia state Police Command and Airport Police Command among others.

He is a holder of B.Sc. degree in Political Science from University of Jos and has attended various courses within and outside the country.
