The Police in Delta State have arrested the kidnappers of 70 year old Abuja resident in Oshimili Local Government Area of the state.
The victim, Mr. Charles Chukwuemeka Eze who leaves at No 4 Kochuwo Street, Wuse 2 Abuja, was abducted along Idumuga-Obomka road.
A statement entitled ‘Arrest of Notorious kidnapper’ from the Police Command said, “It a follow up to the case of kidnap of 70 yrs old Mr. Charles Eze, No 4 Kochuwo street, Wuse 2, Abuja, at about 6.12pm along Idumuga-Obomka road on 22nd April 2017.

“Mr. Eze was released after a payment of an undisclosed amount of money as ransom fee.
The Police stated that acting on a tip-off today, Saturday June the 3rd, 2017, at about 8.30am, a team of Special Anti-Robbery and Cyber Crime Squad (SAKCCS) officers led by Inspector Julius Robinson, arrested one Shuaibu Alhaji Haruna.
The said Haruna, aged 35years is a native of Kogi State and resident of Ogbe-Obi Community of Illah in Oshimili LGA of Delta State.
While noting that the suspect confessed to the crime and mentioned his cohorts, the Police said investigation was ongoing.
