For months now Birnin Gwari area of Kaduna State has witnessed several kidnapping and armed robbery activities as well as killing of security agents.

Consequently, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim Kpotun-Idris, and GOC, 1 Division, Kaduna, Major General Mohammed Mohammed visited Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State to assess the security situation of the area and security needs of the people.
