The Police in Delta State have busted a notorious kidnapping gang terrorizing Oghara and neighbouring communities including Sapele and others.
The gang was dismantled just as an angry mob that had suffered untold hardship from the kidnapping/armed robbery gang, got hold of the wanted leader of the gang and set him ablaze in jungle justice fashion.
In a statement titled, ‘Death of a Wanted Kidnapping Kingpin/Armed Robber and Recovery of a double barrel cut to size gun and a cartridge’ Delta State police command said its operatives had earlier killed a member of the gang in a shootout and arrested his second in command.
