Kogi Police Arrest, Parade 5 Armed Robbery Suspects.

In compliance with the directives of Inspector-General of Police, IGP Ibrahim Idris, to clamp down on highway robbers and kidnappers, the Commissioner of Police,  Kogi State Police Commanded, CP Ali A. Janga, charged all officers of the Command to expand their operational tactics and ensure arrest of all criminal elements terrorizing the State.
 
Consequently, the detectives of the Special Anti-robbery Squad, led by DSP Babagana Bukar and Operatives of the Department of State Service, Kogi State, working on actionable intelligence tracked and arrested the gang who invaded the house of Engr. Chris Edime on 28/12/2017 at about 0200hrs at Naval Quarters Area Lokongoma phase II, Lokoja.
 
The gang dispossessed him of his Infinity G35x Salon car, Reg. No. GWA672JS and other house-holds appliances.
 
The suspects were apprehended in their various hideouts in Lokoja and Lagos where the Infinity G35x car was recovered.
 
The suspects arrested confessed to the crime, while one of the suspects named Musa stated that, he had earlier been arrested and charged to court for theft but jumped bail before committing the present crime.
 
5. Investigation is ongoing, while the suspects will be arraigned in court for prosecution on completion of investigation.
 
The suspects are Mohammed Kabir, Musa Mohammed, Emmanuel Audu, Jale Yunusa and Mohammed Ibrahim.
 
Exhibits recovered from the gang include One Infinity G35X Salon Car, Reg. No. GWA673JS; One single barrel gun, ATM Card, One LG Plasma TV, One home theater Electronic, one bag of rice, 12 assorted handsets, and various degree of charms.
