Matawalle Greets Muslim Communities on Occassion of MAWLID AL-NABI

In celebration of Mawlid al-Nabi, the Honorable Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle MON, extends heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the entire Muslim community.
This special occasion marks the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and is a profound moment for reflection, unity, and reverence.
Mawlid al-Nabi is a significant event that allows us to honor the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), whose guidance has been a beacon of hope and strength for millions across the globe.
As we celebrate this occasion, it is a time to reaffirm our commitment to the values of peace, justice, and integrity that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) exemplified.
Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle emphasized the importance of reflecting on the Prophet’s exemplary life and teachings. He stated, “Mawlid al-Nabi serves as a powerful reminder of the virtues that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stood for—compassion, justice, and unwavering commitment to the betterment of society.

The Minister also highlighted the significance of unity and cooperation among all members of society.
He said, “In our role as guardians of national security and peace, it is essential that we embody the spirit of unity and mutual respect that the Prophet Muhammad championed.
“This celebration is not only a time for reflection but also a call to action to work together towards a harmonious and secure nation.”
Dr. Matawalle also called upon all members of the Muslim community to engage in acts of charity, kindness, and solidarity during this holy month.
“As we observe Mawlid al-Nabi, let us honor the legacy of our beloved Prophet Muhammad by fostering a spirit of unity and collaboration, both within our communities and across the nation.”
