Logistics plan and management has been described as crucial in executing military operations.
The Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division Brigadier General Abdulmalik Bulama Biu, made this known on Thursday 22 November 2018 in Maiduguri when members of Course 16 of the Nigerian Army College of Logistics paid a working visit to the Division.
He further stated that, for any successful and conduct of any productive operation, there must be a well thought out and efficient logistics planning.
He commended the Nigerian Army College of Logistics for their consistency in moulding junior and middle level officers for the Armed Forces.

Also speaking, the Commandant Brigadier General Osasogie Uzamere noted that it is essential to expose the students to the reality of practical planning and managing logistics in operational conditions, hence the visit to the North East theatre of operation.
The visit which had as its theme “Enhancing Operational Efficiency through Adequate Logistics to Support Military Operations” also featured operational brief on Supply and Transport, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, among others
Present during the visit were some Principal Staff Officers of 7 Division as well as staff officers of the College.
