The Military Pensions Board (MPB) has announced that the third quarter arrears of the 33% owed retired military officers across the country has been paid.

There had been apprehension be several retired military personnel including officers and soldiers over what they termed disturbing delay in the payment of their 33% pension arrears for this their quarter leading to the MPB being inundated with enquiries.
A statement confirming the payment, signed by Squadron Leader Ikenna Ezendu, Public Relations Officer of the PB said, “This is to inform our esteem pensioners that Military Pensions Board has paid third quarter 33% pension arrears.
All military pensioners are therefore urged to key into this information.
