NAFRC Passing Out: CNS Tasks Retirees to be Ambassadors of Change

The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, on Thursday charged 725 retiring military personnel to “be the change they wish to see” as they transition to civilian life.
He gave the charge at the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre’s (NAFRC) Passing Out Ceremony, for Trainees of Course 01/2024 in Lagos.

Vice Admiral Ogalla who was the Special Guest of Honour praised the retirees’ dedication and sacrificebto the nation, urging them to become ambassadors of the Armed Forces, positively impacting their communities.

He also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for initiatives supporting retirees’ welfare.

The event marked a significant milestone as 725 retiring personnel from the Army, Navy, and Air Force successfully completed their training, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to transition into civilian life.

The ceremony was a vibrant celebration of service and dedication, culminating in group photos, exhibition stand visits, and a sense of pride among retirees embarking on their new journey.
