NDA Admission: Military Authorities Alerts of Fraudsters.

The Nigerian Defence Academy has warned unsuspecting members of the public to be wary of activities of fraudsters going about issuing fake admission letters to candidates with a view to defrauding them of their money noting that the selection process for successful candidates was yet to be completed.

A statement in this regard, signed by Major Musa Adams Yahaya, Public Relations Officer, Nigerian Defence Academy said, “The attention of the Nigerian Defence Academy has been drawn to the activities of a criminal syndicate who parade themselves as the Commandant and Registrar of the Academy and thereby defraud innocent citizens of their hard earned money by issuing fake NDA admission letters.

“I am directed to inform the general public that the Armed Forces Selection Board for 69 Regular Course is still ongoing.

“The list of all successful candidates will be published in the national dailies at the end of the selection exercise with the approval of the Chief of Defence Staff.

“Admission letters will be issued to successful candidates after matriculation in December 2017.

“Consequently, all unsuccessful candidates are advised to try another time and not to allow these criminal minded and unpatriotic individuals to defraud them under any guise as such arrangement does not exist.

“Finally, the Nigerian Defence Academy wishes to re-emphasis that admission into the Academy is only done by the Armed Forces Selection Board and is free to all Nigerians.

“No candidate is expected to pay money to any individual whatsoever as candidates admitted are trained free of charge by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
