The Nigerian Defence Academy has again reinforced her drive towards meeting her Corporate Social Responsibility goals by donating a Children’s Play Park at the National Museums and Monuments, Kaduna.
Commissioning the play park at the museum grounds, Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Major General Adeniyi Oyebade, represented at the occasion by the Deputy Commandant, Air Vice Marshal I Amin, said that NDA takes the role of Corporate Social Responsibility seriously and has over the past year provided much needed amenities such as transformers, drinking water, free medical services among others to neighboring communities in Kaduna state.

He noted that Museums are important institutions that preserve the culture and history of any society and present them to the general public for educational and enjoyment purposes, adding that NDA was proud to associate with the project.
He further hoped that the facility provided by NDA will create a conducive environment for children visiting the Kaduna museum and also attract more children there.
Acting Director of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM), Alhaji Abdulkareem O Kadiri, was full of praise for the Nigerian Defence Academy, noting that the project could not have been possible without the kind support of the Academy.
Alhaji Kadiri assured the Commandant that the play park will be well maintained and used solely for the purpose provided.
The park which was financed by the Academy has items like Seesaws, Slides, a Monkey Bridge, Garden Swing and other amenities.
