In continuation of his three day state visit to Nigeria, the heir to the British throne, and Prince of Wales, Prince Charles was the guest of the Nigerian Navy in Lagos.
The Prince who is Royal Navy Officer, was received by the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ete-Ibas when he toured the Nigerian Navy Ship,NNS Ekulu.

Highlight of the visit by the Prince who felt very much at home in the midst of accommodating Nigerian Navy officers, owing to the long standing bilateral and training relationship between the Royal British Navy and its Nigerian counterpart was shocked by a surprise package given to him by the Nigerian Navy.
The Prince celebrates his 70th birthday on earth, this November and the Nigerian Navy is the first to break the duck.
He along with a former Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Ibrahim Ogohi were born on same day, in November 70 years ago.
Pictures show the Prince being presented the cake by Commanding Officer, NNS Ekulu, Navy Commander Andy Zidon while the CNS, Vice Admiral Ibas savours the occasion.
