In a bid to enhance capacity building of personnel for command and control, the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) on Thursday graduated 63 senior officers of Command Course 9 organized by the NIS for CIS, Comptrollers of Immigration Service, DCI, Deputy Comptrollers and ACI, Assistant Comptrollers of Immigration.
A statement by DCI Sunday James, Public Relations Officer, for the service gave the breakdown to include 5 Comptrollers, 56 Deputy Comptrollers and 2 Assistant Comptrollers of Immigration.

Relatedly, he said a total of 1, 277 personnel graduated from the 22nd Inspectorate Basic Course at the Nigerian Immigration Training School (NITSOL), Orlu and 21st Pre-basic course at Nigerian Immigration Training School (NITSA), Ahoada on the v25th and 27th September 2018 respectively.
A breakdown of the personnel who had passing out parade at NITSOL, include a total of 820 personnel comprising 181 senior Inspectors of Immigration and 639 Assistant Inspectors of Immigration.
Similarly, at NITSA, a total of 657 personnel graduated in Assistant Cadre and they include 5 Chief Immigration Assistants, 5 senior Immigration Assistants, 34 Immigration Assistants 1, 9 Immigration Assistants 2 and 604 Immigration Assistants 3.
Comptroller General of Immigration, Muhammad Babandede urged the new graduands to exude high level of discipline while demonstrating their skills and competences in service to their fatherland.
