Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, pledged the support of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) for the Nigerian film industry popularly known as Nollywood.
He stated this when he played host to renowned Nollywood actor, Toyin Abraham, at his office.
According to Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, the CAS expressed his admiration for Abraham’s contributions to the Nigerian film industry

Air Marshal Abubakar also acknowledged the positive impact of Nollywood in showcasing Nigeria’s diverse and rich cultural heritage as well as its impact on international audiences.
He then went on to highlight the importance of leveraging the influence and impact of Nollywood to foster a positive image of the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) through showcasing its various achievements especially in the ongoing fight against all forms of criminality in the country.
Furthermore, the CAS assured her of NAF’s support through the provision of equipment required to interpret movies that would be mutually beneficial.
