Ogun Police Nab 2 Suspects for Killing Neighbour over Bajaj Motorcycle.

Police in Ogun State has arrested two men for killing their neighour and stole his Bajaj motorcycle.

The two suspects; Patrick Udom ‘m’ 35yrs from Akwa-Ibom State and James Roland 25yrs from Delta State were arrested following a complaint by the elder brother of the victim one Moses Utuede who reported at Obanlende Divisional headquarter that his younger by name Happy Patrick ‘m’ left home around 7:00am of 15th of May 2018 and yet to return with his motorcycle.

On the strength of the report, the DPO Sp Jaiye Richard detailed detectives to embark on full scale investigation in order to unravel the mystery behind the sudden disappearance of the victim.

Investigation later revealed that the victim was last seen with Patrick Udom and he was promptly arrested. After a thorough investigation, the said Patrick Udom confessed to have killed the victim ably assisted by Roland James.

He stated further that the victim who lives in the same community of Imodi-Imosan with them was killed because they wanted to steal his motorcycle which they actually did after killing their victim.

The body of the deceased which was concealed in a sack and threw in a nearby bush has been recovered. Also recovered from them are the two cutlasses used to kill the deceased, one hammer and a digger.

Meanwhile the Commissioner of Police CP Ahmed Iliysasu has ordered that the case be transferred to Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence for discrete investigation and prosecution of the suspects.
