The Nigerian Police Force, National Cyber Crime Centre, NPF-NCCCvon Thursday arraigned 109 foreign nationals at the federal High Court Abuja, over offences relating to alleged fraudulent practices against the country
Specifically, the nationals comprising Chinese, Indonesian, Philippines, Brazilians, Malaysian,
Thailand and Myanmar are facing six count charges
They are Conspiracy, Unlawful Access to Data, Marketing Scam, Computer Related Fraud, Money Laundering and Illegal migration
Justice Okerete Akpan of the federal high Court 13 FCT, Abuja who is presiding over the case, adjourned hearing to November 22nd 2024 on the ground that the defense council should study the case before the said date to enable the defence council proper insight and understanding of the case.

Recall that the Nigeria Police Force recently arrested 130 suspects comprising 113 foreign nationals (87 males and 26 females), and their 17 Nigerian collaborators (4 males and 13 females) for their alleged involvement in high-level cybercrimes, hacking, and activities that threaten national security.
A Force headquarters statement had said, statement had said the operation was conducted the the Police Zonal Command headquarters, Zone 7 led by AIG Benneth Igweh and the CP in charge NPF National Cybercrimes Centre, CP Ifeanyi Henry Uche.
It said, “This strategic operation was conducted through a coordinated raid on a building at the Next Cash and Carry area of Jahi, Abuja, where the suspects were reportedly using computers and other sophisticated devices to facilitate criminal activities.
“The operation which was led by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police for Zone 7 Headquarters, Abuja, AIG Benneth Igweh, on Saturday, 3rd November 2024, comprised officers of the Nigeria Police Force Zone 7 Command Abuja and the National Cyber Crime Centre (NPF-NCCC).
“We are investigating the matter and scientifically analysing the exhibits recovered from them.
“The suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of our investigation
