The Niger State Police Command on Tuesday said its operatives have arrested two ritualists’ with a human skull following the suspected murder of their victim
Police Public Relations Officer for the Command, DSP Babalola O Adewole while giving details of the arrests said, “On Monday 27th August 2017 at about 9pm, following a sustained monitoring by IGP Special Tactical Squad attached to Abuja – Minna Road, two notorious ritualists were arrested in possession of a human head.
They were nabbed when the operatives stormed the den of criminals.
“The recovered human head was later discovered to be that of one Hassan Abubakar of Bakajeba, Paiko LGA.

“The suspects Abdulasheed Aminu 22years old of Lupa and Ismail Muhammed 27years old of Makera all confessed that they cut off the head with the use of two sharp knives with the assistance of one Ibrahim surname unknown of Paiko LGA still at large.
“The father of the victim, one ABubakar Shuaib said that his son was last seen on Saturday 26th August 2017 taking a kettle of water from the house to give an unknown person outside.
“Since then he was nowhere to be found until he heard that the Police arrested the suspects with human head and he identified same as his son.”
