The Commissioner of Police, Western Port Authority Command, Mr. Jonathan Towuru and the Area Controller, Tin Can Island Port Command, Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Adekunle Oloyode on Tuesday, expressed strong commitment towards promoting trade facilitation and national security at the seaports.
The two agencies also harped on effective policing at the ports, intelligence gathering and information sharing, etc.
The call for synergy among both agencies was made when Comptroller Oloyede paid a working visit to the Western Port Authority Command where he was received by CP Jonathan Towuru.
