The Alumni Association of National Defence College have confirmed the death of elder Statesman, retired Colonel (Prince) Zubair at his home in Abuja.
“The Prince died quietly in his sleep at home on Sunday 29 Sep 24.
“He was a member of NDA 17th Regular Combatant Course.
“He also was an alumnus of the National War College (now NDC) Abuja.
According to Hani the son, Prince was discovered gone at about 8.30am hrs this morning.
Late Prince who died at age 72 years, is survived by; one wife, 3 children and 2 grand children.
Air Commodore Zakari said the “family has arranged for the funeral conducted after Asr Prayers at appropriately 1600 hrs today at the National Mosque.
‘Burial was at Gudu Muslim Cemetery after the prayers.
“Several military and para-military top Generals were at the funeral prayers at National Mosque and burial at Gudu Muslim Cemetery.”
