The Rotary Club of Uselu, Benin City, Edo State has installed Rotarian Mr. Christopher Itsoya Esheku as the 36th president of the club for the rotary year 2018/2019.
The new president who is an alumni of the University of Ibadan, will pilot the affairs of the club for the rotary year with 14 other officers and directors.
The installation ceremony was held at the banquet hall of the University of Benin, Ugbowo campus over the weekend amid fanfare while the immediate past president, Emmanuel Chuks Ozobialu bowed out with several commendation.

Highlight of the event was the launching of club service projects, presentation of award projects, and presentation of award to six personalities for their contributions to the club as well as induction of two new members.
The 6 awardees are Lady M Cole, High Chief Aneru Izuagbe, Mr. Mathew Egwaogie, Professor OB Osadolor, Alhaji Dauda Momodu, and Efe Osafonwan
While speaking on his plans, the president disclosed that he would justify the confidence reposed on him.
He pledged that his administration would take Rotary Club of Uselu to a higher level and build on the achievements of his predecessor, while focusing on meaningful development projects across the Uselu community and environs
Rotarian Esheku however sought the support of all and sundry to make the outlined projects achievable.
The immediate past president on his part, thanked members for their support for his administration and urged them to do the same for the new president.
