Factional leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau, has released a video showing how insurgents recently sacked a military post at the outskirts of Maiduguri, Borno state.
The terrorist leader claimed responsibility for recent sneak attack on Maiduguri.

In the 33-minute video, Shekau was seen displaying ammunition and camouflage, uniforms, shoes, identity cards, arms and ammunition allegedly seized from the fleeing soldiers during the attack.
In the video, Shekau was heard saying, “This is just the beginning”.
Gesticulating and mocking the military for going after them in Sambisa forest, the Boko Haram leader claimed that they were somewhere within Maiduguri.
Shekau insisted that contrary to claim by the military and federal government, Boko Haram have not been defeated.
