The Taraba State Police Command on Thursday announced the smashing of a group of syndicates who specialize in house breaking, theft and terrorizing the residents of Jalingo metropolis.
A statement by David Misal, PPRO said the syndicates were arrested during our (Taraba Police Command) recent raids on criminal hide out and black spot in the state capital.

 Items recovered includes:- six flat screen TV, one Toshiba TV, 3 DVD’s, one laptop, a set of whopper radio, two rechargeable fans, two standing fans, Akira pressing iron, tea flask, three air conditioners, set blankets, sewed wrapper and GtTV decoder.
 Names of the suspects include:- 1. Yusuf Ali 21yrs, Kabiru Usman 20yrs, Bobbo Umaru 20yrs and Ibrahim Etan 34yrs All residents at road block Jalingo, some of the suspects have been charged to court.
 The police command use this medium to inform the general public particularly those whom items were stolen or bugled to report to Special anti-robbery squad (SARS) with means of identity for claim of ownership.
