The Commissioner of Police, Katsina State Police Command, CP Usman Ali Abdullahi has met with leaderships of Religious leaders and Heads of Media Organizations on the need to continue to propagate peaceful coexistence among the various ethnic and religious groups residing in Katsina state.
This comes, following reports being circulated most especially on social media on the security situation in the South Eastern part of Nigeria.

“The Commissioner of Police prevails on the Religious leaders to use their wisdom and sensitize their followers on the need to sustain the existing peace and harmony within the various ethnic and religious groups in the state” a statement by the command said.
On the other hand, he enjoined the Heads of Media organizations to use their various medium to propagate peaceful coexistence most especially through the use of Jingles and other laudable programs that will promote unity and peaceful coexistence in the country.
