The Restructuring Controversy Continues with Okiro’s Book.

 A book, “Nigeria: The Restructuring Controversy”, authored by Dr. Mike Mbama Okiro, Chairman Police Service Commission and retired Inspector General of Police, will join the fray on Thursday, July 6th, 2017 as the nation grapples with the search for a new political order.

Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo who is the Special Guest of Honour at the event, will be joined by former Military Presidents, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, (Chairman of the Occasion) and General Yakubu Gowon, who wrote the foreword to the book, to brain storm on this raging controversy with a view to finding an acceptable political frame work for the nation.

Other eminent Nigerians are also scheduled to speak at the occasion holding at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.

Sir Okiro, the author, said in an interview that the book is his little contribution to the robust debate for a better Nigeria.

He said he has decided to gather eminent Nigerians in one roof to brainstorm on the way forward.
