The Nigerian Army is set to hold the Chief of Army Staff’s First Quarter Conference and Combat Arms Training Week 2019, from Tuesday 23 to Sunday 28 April 2019 at the Lt Gen AO Ihejirika Auditorium, Infantry Corps Centre, Jaji, Kaduna State.
The conference will afford the Nigerian Army the platform to re-appraise its performance in the pursuit of its constitutional roles as well as make projections for the next quarter.

Other activities expected to take place during the conference include intelligence and security brief, review of Nigerian Army operations, brief from selected operation Commanders, several lectures and miscellaneous matters.
A statement by Col Sagir Musa, Acting Director, Army Public Relations said “There will also be fire power demonstrations at Jaji range as part of the conference”.
The theme for this year’s Combat Arms Training Week is: “Leveraging Land Power and Future Warfare: The Utility of the Combat Arms”.
Principal Staff Officers, Corps, Formation and Operations Commanders, Commandants of Nigerian Army Corps Schools and some selected Nigerian Army Officers serving in some key appointments, tri-service institutions as well as retired senior Army officers are expected to be in attendance.
