War on Terror: GOC 3 Div Charges Troops on Discipline, Commitment.

In continuation of his visits to troops  within Headquarters 3  Division Tactical (Sector 2) deployed in the frontline of Operation Lafiya Dole to commemorate Nigeria’s  57th independence anniversary celebration, the  Acting General Officer Commanding 3 Division Nigerian Army Brig Gen Benjamin Ahanotu  on Wednesday visited troops of 29 Task Force Brigade deployed in Borgozo, Alagarno and Mauli respectively.

In his address to troops, the Ag GOC charged them to remain disciplined and dedicated in defending the nation’s territorial integrity.

He expressed satisfaction with the troop’s operational achievements and urged them not to lose their guards.

He stated that, “it is not over until is over.”

He acknowledged the problems and challenges the troops we’re posed with and went on to remind them of their constitutional responsibility of defending and protecting the territorial integrity of the nation.

Hence the need to continue to remain disciplined and committed in the discharge of their constitutional roles.

The Ag GOC assured them that the remnants of Boko Haram would soon be smoked out of from their hide out of the Division’s Area of Responsibility.

The  Ag GOC  had earlier on arrival  received and escorted from Benishiekh to Borgozo by Commander 29 Task Force Brigade Brig Gen KI Muktar before proceeding to 156 Task Force Battalion Alagarno and 154 Task Force Battalion Mauli where he was briefed and conducted round troops deployment by the Acting  Commanding Officer 156 Task Force Bn, Major AA Johnson.

It would be recalled that the  Ag GOC had earlier visited troops of 27 Task Force Brigade deployed at Buniyadi, Azare, Kamuya, Gonori and 233 Bn following AHQ directive that Commanders should Celebrate 57 independence anniversary with frontline troops.
