Banditry: Troops kills scores, arrest 4 at Falgore forest
Troops from 3rd motorized brigade of Nigerian Army have decimated criminality at Falgore forest following a combat operation that led to the death of scores of bandits, while 4 were arrested.
The Brigade Commander, 3rd motorized brigade of the Nigerian army, Kano, Brigadier General Hamisu Hassan told Reporters that 4 soldiers were wounded during the operation.
Brigadier General Hamisu who celebrated Easter with the troops disclosed that no fewer than 314 cows and 500 sheep were recovered from rustler’s camps.

He said “our troops have decimated criminality as regards banditry, rustling and kidnapping at Falgore forest and we are sustaining the tempo”.
The infantry General said that the success story was made possible by combine effort of civil populace, and other paramilitary forces.
He commended the troops for their commitment and dedication, and further enjoined them to sustained the tempo.
General Hassan who accompanied the troops deep to theatre of operation revealed that the troops are currently involved in confidence building within the general area of the forest.
