In furtherance of the ongoing clearance
operations in North Eastern zone, Troops 195 battalilon, under Operation Desert Sanity in conjunction with Covilian JTF have neutralized ten (10) Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists during ambush operations at the axis of Kadha hills.
Sources said thst during the clearance operation troops and the CJTF along with personnel of other security agencies rescued several women and children captives found in the terrorist’s dens.
Subsequently, troops destroyed terrorists enclaves around Merkas and Yarganari Villages in Borno State.
Several arms and ammunition including anti-aircraft gun were recovered after the offensive.
